***Wylder…Before we started training Crossroads went home, Whyteclaw able to divine it with blood magic and the temple being outside space time it’s kind of a basic location given we know where they are.

He’s been here a few months of waiting for time to sync to meet his Dad but things happened there and he was still intending on coming back here to help and train some more.

As it was he is better physically, between the exercise and his meditation and actually taking the time to focus his willpower on recoverings as he meditates helped, Whyteclaws food alchemy is useful.

Kid is definitely Sempai’s grandson, not going to Rynn’s and all the time in the Holy City and the Divine Holy City is telling he will do little prayers on things or over things and invoke a little associated power but it’s cultural too like religious sayings or expressions, crossing oneself.

I like him too because he gets along with Kai of Aera.

She shows him around the planet more than others and they talk and train but he has that Tyler vibe as well so I’m not jealous he’s kind of like a friend or cousin/brother.

And he’s learning the planet’s landscape, plants and herbs as he was here and part of it is him building up his own gear and things. Some he gets from us, Bazz sets him up with some flexi things and some glassteel flexi and Lasek weapons and gear like d-pouches and bags.

He made and prepped a bunch of things to trade and sell and some baskets and he left for Sylvania on paddle boat? He does something and there was fog and he paddled off our bay and to the Lake?

Time went really slow and at the same time not…Thirty six hour days and I was only used to being able to interact with anyone for three hours a day. So yeah I have some PTSD on that and sleeping and all that so I stay up more than I should.

It helps in learning.

I learned about things from Aunt Lane but I kind of learn about myself sort of and the other versions of me or I’m another version of them and it reminds me of some of the comic things that Aunt Cindy would talk about, she’s literally a comic cleric heer lore is that big…and nerdy.

I still have holes and we all do, Whyteclaw and others have memories from different versions of their older selves from the Eternalverse.

He kept returning, being reborn over there.

What I do have is a really good grip on me.

Kinda important when there’s variants.

But I’m up so I use the computers and the coms as much as time differences allow on home and I read up on current events and people and things I wouldn’t before like the political sections and other things in media.

If I’m going to do the thing… then studying up on things like that will help.

I download books as well, poli sci, history, art and music things that I’m interested in and I have enough personal energy for some replication so I start a “Vinyl” collection and hardcover books. 

I trade off with Bazz for enchanted works I do for d-items.

Now by enchanted works I mean charms.

I pull on lake/lifestream/mana enough for a “Drop” I use that like ink to make symbols and Sylvan runes and Kanji in an object I’m making and using Sage magic use all that to infuse intent and skill into something.

So like Sage magic is me pulling free clerical magic… yeah that exists, regular people have power affecting expectations of mystical religions.

So I pull on blessings of Illmaren the sylvan god of crafts and Ishanti the women's version to put as much magic as I put Eternal faith in something.

So like I made Bazz wood working tools with blessed steel and wood and then enchanted with the intent and skill I use when working with Sempai and Dad or with like holy city building volunteers… but that becomes an external focus for doing that for him and it.

Yeah it’s my thing out of the others I guess.

And it does take time and if I don’t make the thing it’s less effective too so it has it’s limits…but I’m sort of a Talismonger.

Doing the “Drop” stuff makes it possible and definitely has me studying more with the writing especially Kanji as I’ve seen Sempai and the other older monks make and use spell tapers.

So I’m looking into that.

And Bazz and others are willing to trade for charmed and  buffed items and creations.

I get D-enchanted items out of it and the food and support and training which is a lot. I mean the plan is to come back with the training going on and set up supplies and things more than what I have.

What I have is what I made or trade in field gear and moving around luggage. I have a D-steamer trunk that’s got  my personal effects and all that but back at Wylder and Kai’s I’d have access to things there.

Which still is my plan as it stands, because it’d be nice to come to Aeran with resources.

But my Travel chest has clothes, book, records and those sorts of take with me on the move things and my instruments, I have a large backpack and a field satchel but mostly I stick with a battle jacket with d-pockets and a utility belt.

Other stuff I’m cliche on the wrist sleeve with the needles, but I make a blessed large scale acupuncture set of needles. My bracelets and some other jewelry and charms.

I do make some gifts while I’m here and I replicate some mostly clothes for Aunt Lane since I’ve seen her and know the sizes more or less but I kind go by feel and vibes in picking her things out and not just ranger clothes but things I think she’d wear or buy while undercover.

And I get her a really good knife, a throwing knife, a skinning knife roll and I make her a bow…with dried and cured stonewood…Trollwood as it’s the kind that hardens as it cures instead of kilns.

Seed pearls little ones charge with one specific thing: aim, accuracy, speed, power all buffed the bow charmed as well as the silk woven line and I offset it with charged prayer of hunt gods and druids and polished with starhoney wax.

Two of whiteclaw’s pearls fit in flexi sockets for the bow ends, again enchanted like the others.

And I think of her using it, us talking, but all my archery lessons, seeing Kailynn and others and mom and sempai and I try to put all those feelings and my own combat experiences fighting with a bow in it.

For her specifically, it should be the strongest for her.

I make her arrows of old willow for it’s ties to the air element and Alloy hunting arrows but the arrowheads are fitted with bones from the claws of a golden eagle to fit the arrows and I pull as much of the bird’s strike/claw force in as I can and the fletching of Falcon and Hummingbird feathers for increased arrow speeds and trick shots.

It’s work it took hours each and the enchanting, power and energy use but worth it for her and for the experience.

And Buckskin boots with as much power and speed of the Buck Elk stag I took for them and I started the ask for the spirit’s help right at hunt ritual.

Then, it’s a paddle boats and packing up and then I say my goodbyes and paddle out focussing on The Lake because you can leave there… it takes more power and then…then if you focus on the Lake it will pull you back.

I am getting looks as I paddle to shore.
